House Accents, Inc. Never Fulfilled Orde

I placed an online order for a large area rug on Nov. 28 thru Google Checkout. On Dec. 2 my credit card was charged $2876.00

The company claims that it ships rugs in 3-7 days, but I have still not received any information from them about my rug.

I have emailed them directly 4 times, and sent email through Google Checkout 5 times, all with no response other than an automated email that says they will be contacting me within 24 hours.

On Jan. 12 I called their 800 number and was on hold for almost 10 minutes. Finally I spoke with a customer service agent who told me that the rug had been backordered and he "didn't know why" they had not let me know. However, he assured me, the rug was due by "the end of next week" and would ship immediately after that.

We shall see. After the other reports I read on this site, I'm extremely skeptical. If I don't receive that rug within two weeks, I am taking serious legal action against this company.
