This is one of the worst built homes that I have seen, there is no quality in this home. My neighbors is calling it PATCHES. AHP gives you some word process sheet of 6 pages, if you were an builder you could read them, if not you are in bad luck. AHP do not provided an blue print that everyone can read in plain english.
1) Walls is not plumb, you can see the curve in them and not looking hard. 2) Kitchen counter top corners not mating correctly (I saw this in May, and this is Sept.) 3) Backfill not done correctly, I have an pond in the back yard now when it rain. There is suspose to be an slope from the house by any NEW HOME CHECKLIST. 4) No shower door installed for the stand up shower. The supervisor stated that AHP do not put an door there. Wish I knew this before they started to build. 5) I asked the salesman for an 3.5 ton, R410a air condition for an Auburn C (1798 heated space), which they had were an 3 ton on the contract. The tonage was upgraded but the new refrigerant was not installed. It will be dumb to build an new house with the old type of refrigent of R22 that is to be replaced in 2010.6) When the concrete truck came to delivery the concret, did not use the drive prepared for them, use an paved drive and damage the drive. The concrete trucks were fully loaded and the drive was not made for this type of traffic.
I could go on and on but what the use, I WOULD not recommend this builder to anybody I know.
