I purchased a home 3 years ago from Pioneer Homes in a developement called, Rose Ranch. During the process of them selling us on purchasing a home from them, they made promisses of a Recreational Center and showed us a plan for it, took us to a location and showed us a recreational center that ours would be just like and even gave us a date that it would be comleted. We purchased our home in a location that was to be close to the recreational center.
3 years later, still no rec center and now they are telling us it may go into phase 2 or 3 of the developement. It's been 3 years and they have not finished phase 1, so we, the 50 plus residents who have all been told the same story, have no idea when it will go in and where.
After speaking with Pioneer homes about this, they informed us that there is a clause in the sales agreement that simply says, "Subject to change"... Becuase of this simple statement, they can make promises they have no intention of keeping and sell homes based on false promises. If you are looking at purchasing a Pioneer Home, think twice.
