Could it be a $8,000, 000 Home, or a $8,000, 000 sucker deal In Phoenix, AZInformationon the property located at 5050 E. Red Rock Dr... Better Known as the Camelback Castle in Phoenix, AZThe property is listed at $7,995, 000.00... According to the Maricopa County Tax Records, this property was purchased on 05/24/1989 for a much lower amount of $985,000.00. Could a home go up 800% in this amount of time? I think NOT. Finding the tax information was a bit time consuming, for an error was made in the parcel ID number Reported on the listing realtor's Documentation. The information in the MLS is to represent correct factual data on properties, if you were to purchase this property with the wrong assessors number you would not be buying the property known as "The Castle"- a Phoenix Landmark. Was this a" typo"? It certainly will dissuade realtors from looking up the tax records which also show, according to the tax assessors square footage (6,172 sq. Ft), is significantly less than the appraiser square footage (7807 sq. Ft.) which is shown in the MLS listing. Could be a multi million Dollar mistake, or a deal for a SUCKER. If you care to check with a title company details on the property the correct assessor number is 172-48-024-A, not 172-48-624.
