Blue World Pools
Beware! Consumer or prospective employee. Beware!

Blue World Pools is a company who preys on consumers that they refer to as Joe Lunchbox. They know you have a credit rating that would enable you to buy a pool. They do not intend to sale you the advertised pool at $399.00, or $299.00, or $199.00. Whatever the low amount of the bargain pool they make it nearly impossible by making you prepare your own pad and take pictures of the prepared site at 4 different stages. They make you buy general liability insurance naming Blue World Pools as a covered insured to the tune of $300,000.00 liability. You can't install the pool yourself, they will not allow it. You have to pay to have it shipped from Atlanta, Georgia or pick it up at Atlanta, Georgia. You have to show them a title of ownership of your property with your name as the title holder. You must have a copy of a building permit or a lawyers notified statement that you live in a parish or county not requiring said building permit. You must have a liability release signed and notorized by your attorney. You must have full payment for the pool. All of this has got to be done before they will enter into a contract "left" with you by the salesman from Blue World Pools. At that point you can order your pool. If you buy the more expensive pool on 21% or greater interest you can just sign the many papers which is a second mortgage and holds you liable for all the payments no matter the circumstances. As an ex-subcontrator salesman I have not been paid for the pool I sold nor have I received compensation for my Rep-Evaluations. The leads were not quality leads. Every lead was a disabled person, single mother or retired person. Two of my leads did not own their homes. Three leads canceled. I only received 1-2 leads a day. The whole thing was a farce from siccum to cmere. I spent about $500.00 running their leads in a two week period of time. I gave it two weeks because they made it sound like a great opportunity for sales. My leads were poor and could only afford the bargain pool. Two of them were so upset they cried one lady wept. They wanted the nice pools but just could not afford them. If these folks would target better incomed families they may sell more of their pools. The problem is if they are this way with employees and consumers they are underhanded in all other ways also. I gave a $150.00 deposit for a carrying case and a 3 ring binder with some very limited sales tools. My last correspondance from Blue World Pools was that if I send the kit back they might compensate me for the kit and they may give me the monies owed me. They owe me money. I paid for the kit. No way does it and 5 others like it cost $150.00. These folks are a joke and are not honorable nor is their word worth anything. When I realized what they were doing I felt shame for ever being involved with them. I am thankful that only one person bought there pool through me. Because of their modus-operandi I am considered an employee of theirs in the state of Oklahoma. They are ignorant of the laws in Oklahoma concerning what a sub-contractor is defined as being. My next step is to file lien on the one customer I sold a pool to and to file with the labor board of Oklahoma. This should get rather interesting. If you are an employee I suggest you start filing liens if you are not being compensated.
