Built Write fencing is out of business. Unfortunately, there are many consumers who are out of their hard earned money because the owner, Robert Cargeeg, is a fraud. I'm one of those consumers that was screwed by Robert.
Not sure if many people are aware, but about 15 or so years ago (I googled the information) he was sued for investment fraud. Bilked hundreds of people out of money with his scheme. How he obtained his contractors license is beyond me.
I wonder if the consumers that were cheated out of their money (fortunately not me) in hopes of a vinyl fence would appreciate the fact that Robert drives a Porche? Or that he was so busy golfing all summer that he allowed his business to go under. What about the Italian shoes he brags about purchasing. This guy is a mess.
There is a local vinyl fence company that is willing to take care of everyone that was screwed by Robert Cargeeg. They will even work with you if you're out money because he had to make his Porche payment, rather than purchase the materials necessary to complete your job. I contacted Vinyl Fence Connection after I left numerous messages for Robert and never received a phone call back. Fortunately, I called Discover Card and they charged back my deposit that I had placed for my fence through Built Write. Vinyl Fence Connection had my job completed in two weeks once I called them and told them what had happed to me. The owner, Craig, was very sympathetic to my situation and made sure I was priority. Their number is in the phone book and they have 4 locations. Obviously they know how to pay their bills.
