So in May we call SAI's Tech support line to correct the installation error of installing our glass-break sensors as a motion alarm. After 2 seperate phone calls, we spent over 2 hours on the phone with a technician who walked us through re-programming (which included removing and re-installing the sensor) our sensor to be a "door/window" alarm.

Since its a glass break sensor, and we can't go around breaking our windows to test the alarm (which is needed to make sure the re-programming worked), all the tecnician told us was "we are resonably confident your sensor works" Well who would be alright with that??? Since the call was technically over we where basically disconnected before havign the chance to request a service technician come out.

So call #3, was again to tech support to have a technician come over, check the sensor, and install a second glass break sensor ($ for SAI). Call #4 was beacuse we never heard for a technician a week later. We were told by Tech support that the service providers in our area were completely over loaded, they would send the request again, but it would be more than likely 3-4 weeks before we were called back. Well, much as we shouldn't have, we gave them that time.

So Call #5, we asked what happened to our service request, and the short answer from SAI was "we don't know". So another service request was generated for a different service provider. Call #6, a week later no call from service technician to schedule appointment, SAI sent ANOTHER request out for service, and we were told to expect a call in 2-3 days, and to call back if it didn't happen.

Call #7, guess what!!! Still no call from the Service technician. Called tech support, was told this time as least there would be not service trip fee, and they sent ANOTHER service provider. Finally contacted by service provider, appointment scheduled, missed, rescheduled, missed with no call, rescheduled (thats a different complaint for a different company). When the technician missed the 2nd appointment without calling, we called them to find out what was going on, and got yelled out by the service provider.

Call #8 to SAI to talk to a supervisior about treatment and getting situation resolved. Was told that "all managers are in a meeting", but they would have one call me back within 24 hours. Call #9,24 hours come and gone, no call from a supervisor, so we called SAI to talked to a supervisor again (guess who was in a meeting again???).

Service Provider finally called to reschedule time to come out and do all repairs/instalation of glassbreak sensors. When he arrived, SAI told him that we already had the glassbreak sensor we needed to install (where would we get that... Walmart???), so he would have to come back. But he did check the "reprogrammed" glass break sensor we already had. And... THE REPROGRAMMING STUNT IN MAY BROKE THE SENSOR!!!

Call #10, called again to ask for a supervisor and credit for the 3 months of the system not working properly, and we were told expect a call by 10pm that same night. Call #11... No call from supervisor, a nd we called AGAIN (another meeting, do they actually work?). No we were told don't expect a call for at least 5 days... Any bets on whether or not will see the 3 months worth of credit???
