Eric Peterson CEO of Altamont homes and his partner Victor. Took tens of thousands of dollars of our personal savings from us as a deposit on a Genesis home. Over a year after handing over the deposit we found out the home had never been ordered, nor could it be. It took months of calling these guys to get a live body on the other end of the line, begging for help and my deposit back.
Never got a home, any help, a return phone call (or even a 1st call w / Eric Peterson for that matter), never got a cent of my deposit back. It took us years to save for this deposit and this jerk took it giving us nothing to show for it. Eric has changed his company's name from Altamont homes now, guessing to help him rip off more people. He's also filed bankruptcy to further protect him. I know of at least one other party he has ripped off in this manner. Is this criminal???
