I placed an order for some repair parts for my hot tub. A week later I received a box from them. After opening the box and finding half of my order correct I contacted their "customer service" number for this company. I was told by the employee that the part in question was on backorder so he made the decision (after, he said, calling me repeated times, of which there was no call record on any of my phones) to use a different part. Quess what! Not even close and I'm not changing all off my hosing to make their part fit. I told him that I was more than happy to wait the two weeks and was told to keep the part they sent to me. Its now been a month with many attempts at contact by email and phone and there is still no part, no contact, no nothing. The ONE time I did make contact with DAVE at SPACARE.com he told me it was far easier to talk to him by email and that he would get back to me within their guaranteed hour time frame. Well that was over a 1000 hrs. Ago. Today after attempting the email route again with no answers I called SPACARE.com's supplier and they gave me the # for another company (they don't dealer with homeowners) that looked up the part # and found that the supplier had 9 of these parts that SPACARE.com said was on backorder! I ordered one and it shipped today, I know because I have a tracking #. SO now they get to deal with the backlash. I contacted VISA who will credit my card and go after the cost. I also contacted the district attorney for Oklahoma City a Mr. David Pratter and lodged a complaint with them. The next and best thing to do is go onto all the spa repair forums I can find and let the people know the truth about SPACARE.com
You know communication would have been so much easier.
