Last fall I purchased well over $4000 worth of bathroom stuff last fall for my new house. The initial purchases arrived in good condition with the exception of a thermostatic faucet on a whirlpool tub that was made in China and due to the plastic gears will never work. This I can replace and will gladly do so since I got the tub way below cost.
Unfortunately, the granite double sink countertop for my bathroom vanity became the victim of a brainless electrician who used the granite top still in its packing box as a bench to sit on while putting together a ceiling fan. Up to this point the countertop was in good condition.
Now comes my problem with Colorado Bath and "Alex". I reorder the countertop February 20 paying another $449 out of my own pocket since the electrician skipped out without paying for the broken one. Yes my purchase was through PayPal. However, it was on a checking account, not a credit card.
My bad... Can't get any help from Paypal after 45 days of the purchase. HMM I ordered it February 20, finally get the replacement about 3 weeks later since "Alex" had to 'search' the warehouse for a replacement. Ok fine!
The countertop I received was broken and I refused shipment on the second countertop. Had one broken countertop. Really didn't need two. Called "Alex" to let him know about the problem and sent the top back.
After almost 2 months (well past the 45 days allowed by PayPal), I still have no countertop AND cannot dispute it through PayPal and I'm out $449 Nice.
I have sent multiple emails to "Alex" using email addresses he had used before and have attempted to call both the 303-287-6680 and 877-775-BATH. Guess what... They have not answered the phone in over 2 weeks. Shocking I know.
Anyway, I have vowed to get $449 of satisfaction since I will probably never get my countertop or a refund and will be forced to spend $ for another countertop. Maybe third times charm... But NOT with Colorado Bath!
