Farmtrac
NO Warranty

I am 79 years young. I turn 80 in May. I would like to tell you my story about my dealing with Farmtrac & Textron. I purchased this tractor to stay active. I think it has caused me about 2 mild heart attacks already over this event. For me this started over 4 Months ago. They gave me a motor at the warehouse, I had to pick it up myself they would not ship it.

Why is explained below.

I purchased a NEW tractor from this company. It is not of any use the motor is no good, due to a factory flaw. Since they have went in to receivership and even before that they will not help me with my waranty cost of service. I am having the motor instaled myself and will have to pay all cost. Just remember this is a new Tractor. I paid $26,900.00 for this tractor. It was purchased new. My dealer has went out of business due to the current events with this company. So I am left with a tractor that will be hard to get parts for and plus there is now no longer a waranty on it. Talk about a bad resale value.

Now the company that is in receiver ship is being auctioned off by an individual that is supposed to be doing what is best for the company Mr. Gurkins. Plus he owns part of the auction company that is to liquidate the reaming inventory. This just seem like a conflict of interest to me. But I could be wrong. There are over 300 dealers in the middle of this train wreck. That more to loose then me.

I want to know how these products are still being sold at a auction with no waranty flooding the market at discounted prices. Now what kind of problems will that make for the dealers that cant even sell there inventory and are being strong-armed into making interest payments to Textron? Being that the company is just in receiver ship there is no real legal action that can be taken against them. I just feel some where some how there is a crime being committed.

The dealers are planning a meeting on the 24th of April, One day before the auction in Tarboro, NC. They need the support of the media. They need the support of the consumers. This is not the fault of the Dealers. I am a loyal customer and Now my dealer is gone do to this. I just want my money back from Farmtrac. I will eat the cost of going to get the motor, But why would I want to keep a tractor that I cant get parts for? Plus has no waranty on it.
