In December, The Moving Company was hired to relocate my home from Centreville, Maryland to McKinney, Texas. Upon arrival in Texas we noticed that while our $1600 grill was listed on the inventory sheet, it was not on the moving truck.
We contacted our former neighbors and they confirmed that the grill had been left behind. A few phone calls to The Moving Company, Lou Murray, specifically, and we were assured that our grill would be picked up and delivered to our Texas address. Our neighbors witnessed the grill being removed from our Maryland property by The Moving Company in late December.
As of April 4 we still do not have our grill. We have been assured on more than one occasion by Jamie, Lou's assistant, as well as Lou himself that our grill would be delivered "by the end of the week". Never mind several weeks have passed since those comments were made.
Lou and Jamie no longer take or return our calls. We are now looking into any legal recourse we have.
