These people are unbelievable! I ordered carpet that was supposed to take less than a week to be delivered. Every time I called the store, my salesman was conveniently "not there" and never returned any of my calls!
When I did get to speak to someone, no one could tell me anything. Then 4 weeks later (after 2 non existent deliveries that were promised) I received a bill for this carpet that I hadnt even seen yet!
The salesman said that it would be taken off my account immediately and shouldnt have been billed. The delivery day came, and I received a call from the delivery guy that he had "been hunting the day before, and had a deer in the truck, so he couldnt make the delivery!" Keep in mind my house has been tore apart for 2 weeks waiting for this carpet - over the Thanksgiving holiday, I might add... The manager I spoke with seemed quite unconcerned that I was upset, and at that point I cancelled my order. I might also add that Stone Mountains website offers no corporate address, phone, fax or email address - I wonder why? The only people I can contact are the jerks who did this to me in the first place!
To top it all off, the account is still showing the entire balance for this carpet!!! I work in customer service, and I tell you if I treated my customers with the disrespect and total lack of concern that Stone Mountain has shown me, we would be out of business. I hope they are soon. Boycott this place!!!
