An employee of a roofing company has been cahsing / stealing "insurance dedctible checks (amounts)" while promising to complete hail damaged roofs, but NOT
performing any of the promised services. The pretend roofer, JIM SHAW, deliberately mis-led and mis-represented himself as a bonded and insured roofing contractor under the employ of Michael Frankot's roofing company. While pretending to be a legitimate roofing representative, Jim Shaw collected checks that were meant only as proof of insurance coverage and were gauranteed NOT to be deposited/cashed (the checks were for the amount of the insurance deductible as listed on the policy). Jim Shaw cashed (stole) these deductible
checks and never performed any of the promised services.
Mr. Frankot was contacted, and he admitted to working with Jim Shaw, on occassion, and he claimed that Jim Shaw "had some company work orders blanks from a previous series of jobs".. Mr. Frankot also stated that Jim Shaw had done this before..
Mr. Frankot said he would investigate, but has never followed-up on his promise (s)—"birds of a (criminal) feather", in my opinion. This issue has been un-resolved for over 2years..
Jim Shaw alternates residences between Inver Grove Heights, Mn. And South Saint Paul, Mn. And Forrest Lake, MN.
