I moved to Ocala, FL in May. I purchased an expensive living room set from this furniture company... Sofa, love seat, sofa table, coffee table, bottom and top of armoir.in the course of the past 10 months, I have been waiting for un-broken furniture to be in my home. Now be advised that during these past 10 months when they had all their so-called retirement sales, I was assured by Phalen Satterfield that my warranty would be honored and that they were merely clearing the store for new merchandiseI have had 4 broken coffee tables, 3 broken armoir bottoms, 2 broken tops, mismatched cushions for the love seat and soft, 2 sofas. All because the furniture was broken, scratched, dented when it arrived at my home. Their repairman has been here twice and the last time was in January when he had to take off the back of the couch and tighten it. I have called, visited, requeste to Phalen Satterfield that they come pickup all the junk and just refund my money. They would not... Said it was now used furniture. I have scheduled to work from home to accommodate these broken furniture deliveries and repairmen. Today was the epitimy of decept, fraud, and as far as I'm concerned, theft of my money for broken furnture. The repairman was scheduled by Deanina to be here between 8 and 11 today to replace the bent hindges on the armoir top, and bring new cushions for the couch. At 10:30 I called and was told that the repairmen no longer worked for them. That they were going to have to get another tech to come fix the furniture. They would call me back. I later in the afternoon received a call from Mark the general manager of the Ocala and Gainesville store to say that they were no longer doing tech work and that both stores were closing. I told him in words un-befitting the lady that I am that I didn't care if they were closing, I wanted my furniture fixed. I paid cash in May and they have stollen my money, deceived the customer, and committed fraud by scheduling technicians to come to the home and not me to tell me he wasn't coming. The corporation of Ashley Furniture/Flair Furniture needs to be investigated by the Better Business Bureau.
