What Customer Service?

We purchased an LG Washer and Dryer about 6 months ago. Recently my LG Dryer has stopped drying the wash loads. My husband contacted the LG Customer Service line and they were happy to make a few suggestions. We followed their suggestions but they did not remedy the problem.

I contacted customer service once again. They scheduled an appointment for a service person so come to my home later that week. The day came and no service person ever arrived. I called the number they gave me and was told by the service company that they do not make calls to my area on Fridays (which it was) and only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I made an appointment for the following Tuesday between 12 and 2.

At 1:30 on that Tues. I received a call from the repairman that he had run into a problem and didn't know when he would make it to my home, I agreed to wait. I 4:30 I could wait no longer as I had an appointment. I called and canceled that appointment. I immediately called the LG customer service line again and scheduled a service appointment for the next Friday with another repair company. I was told that "Elizabeth" from the repair company would call that week with a window of time when they would arrive. I waited. Elizabeth never called.

I called Elizabeth at the number they provided on Friday. It went right to voice mail. I left several messages for Elizabeth but she never returned my calls. No one every showed up at my home on Friday. I called the LG customer service number yet again and was told that at this point they would have to contact the scheduling department as there were no other service providers in my area.

I should hear from the scheduling department in about 3 business days (it was Friday so this puts this out to Wednesday of the next week). At that point I will have gone almost 3 weeks without use of my dryer. I have emailed the corporate offices only to receive the standard "we have received your complaint" response. I'm not sure what to do next. I would expect more from a company that expects you to pay about $1,000 for a dryer and boasts that customer service is their top priority.
