I had a $49.95 coupon to clean my vents central ac/heat. Ended up paying $4,518. Told the guy I was a first time home owner and I did not have any idea what they normally charge and he could be ripping me off.
The technichian told me to make phone calls now and then quoted sears, they'll charge 5 or 6 thousand dollars and if my furnace broke I would pay 10 or 15 thousand.
The ac had poor air pressure since the beginning of the summer in some rooms. I did not want to delay any longer. Plus I work nights and just woke up. I was not in the mood to make phone calls.
