Classic International contracted by nationwide relocation service
Ripoff delay damaged missing articles and 0 customer service from both fort Lauderdale

It's a long story, but somebody should know about it to save themsevels $5000. It all started with my wife's moving to TX from MA. I called Nationwide relocation who is supposed to be one of the largest. I was supposed to get a Mayflower or some other major van line who would do a pick up and come straight to TX.instead they contracted this classic international who couldon't come on time, didn't deliver on time, plan on charging me storage for not can't be present to receive because they are late (I arranged travel based on their agreed deliver date).

It gets worse because the car was picked up by another company, who delivered the car in tar and mud with keyed marks that was not there at pick up, till today, i can't get any customer service to pay me for the damage.
The items were shipped 1 day late after days of calling and pushing at 8pm, they were done around 2am and i had to leave to catch a plane at 4:30. To summarize how messed up this thing is i will have to list them:

1. Pick up car late
2. Delivered car in horrible condition
3.100% insured yet no customer service would face the problem with receipts showing before and after conditions.
4. Given a 'maximum' quote, yet charge another arm and leg after they have your items.
5. Service is not as promised
6. Delivered late and attemped to charge extra for storage
7. No compensation for late
8. Charged 'long carry' that i never heard before because they feel like taking the senic route through the curvy path through flower bed.
9. Not weighing or estimating and charge A LOT of extra, it later comes to over a dollar a pound.
10. Made it impossible for you to dispute the weight
11. Impossible to check items at drop off, and no customer service to look for missing items after reported.

I am tired of listing over all. Stay away from BOTH of these if possible because it became clear to us that you are better off buying brand new stuff than having them ship your things for you. We spent about 6k for moving. Much more if you count the missing items. WE HAVE NO ONE TO TALK TO.

You can call customer service all you like, but they tell you to wait a week, by the time you call back, the customer service guy that you talked to has ALREADY LEFT!!! Not one, two, or three, I must had 5 different people asking me repeat my story. I wrote and faxed to be filed, but it doesn't matter. YOU ARE Fxcked and you have no way to be compensated.

BE SUER to find a MAJOR VAN line locally!
Have them come estimate and give a quote, if they are off, it's their problem.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, make sure your items are loaded only ONCE. Mine was unloaded and put in a storage to wait for other moves to make the same trip! I am so p*sed, and lost so much that can't be replaced.

Items should only get in the van once, the time they leave van is when they make it to destination...

Screw classic international, screw movingcost

There is a God and all things will be paid for at the end. I hope everyone learn from the lesson and they will be out of business SOON if they do not change the way they do business.

NEVER USE THEM if you want a 'stress-free move'... Exactly what I didn't get by using them... Some promise...
