We bought our mattress 2 years ago and about 1 year ago the side of the mattress started to give. It got worse and worse until now if you lie anywhere from the middle toward the side you feel like you are going to roll right off the bed.
We went to our retailer to ask how to file a claim and they gave me a form to fill out and we needed to return it to them with a fee of $59 to file a claim. We thought this was ridiculous so I emailed the company and they responded that I had to go through the retailer and basically told me that it was too bad that I had to pay the fee.
We filed the claim without paying the fee and the retailer too the claim. We had to go back to the store several times before they filed it. The retailer called and said that Simmons says our claim was denied because the warranty only covers the top of the mattress. It wasnt the top that was sagging it was the side. Even though the side is out 8 inches and the top sags due to lack of support. This is one of those mattresses that you do not flip. But even though, we turned the mattress regularly.
