We purchased a mattress at Central Texas Mattress Corporation with a warranty by simons company for their new company comforpedic. The bed starting sinking within months of purchase. The warranty states it should not indent more than 3/4 of an inch. It also states the mattress should be supportive. It was not. We had informed the company that one of suffers from back problems and they recommended this particular mattress. The mattress warranty was for 25 years. The mattress costs over $2000.
We made numerous calls to the store and they totally ignored us until we showed up in person complaining about the bad mattress. Yes we followed all manufacturers suggestions. Then they what we believe to be an employee or subcontractor of the retailer. The guy sent out asked about the springs in the mattress although it was a foam mattress.
After more weeks of delay on getting results, the store told us quote, "you are shit out of luck". They stated they measured a 1/4 indent without any body pressure for 14 hours. With body pressure shortly after rising it sinks up 2 1/2 inches and several inches at night. We sent them our pictures and demanded resolution with no results.
Hence it was medically prescribed to replace the mattress with a competitors brand. Even the doctors, noted this mattress did not meet the specific in the warranty.
Simmons does not stand behind their warranties. This is a real rip off.
