I had the misfortune of responding to one of their employment postings on Monster.com and accepting a position with them before I found usacomplaints.com
This is how they work:
You see a late night ad advertising an above ground pool for $299 ($399 now) or an add for Thermospas. You call in and set an appointment for a salesman to come out and see you for 90 minute presentation. 1st question to ask yourself is for $299 they pay a salesman to come out to my house? The salesman arrives for your appointment WITH THE SOLE INTENTION OF TRYING TO SELL YOU A $16000 ABOVE GROUND POOL or a $20,000 jacuzzi. It is high pressure!
promised of riches for selling something that people already want! Big dollars... Needless to say, I didn't do very well because I knew that this was all wrong. The two sales that I did get were only after the Sales Manager on the phone went down to under $8000 for the pool and $10000 for the spa. Oh, they know you don't have the cash, that's why they offer flexible payment plans at 21% interest if you qualify!
I can't tell you how many conversations I had with people who all said the same thing everyone has to say on this board "I knew it was too good to be true" or "I feel like I've been scammed"
Warning: they change their names after the word gets out about them. Do not i repeat do not call in for an appointment. There advertising is intentionally misleading!
