On 3/20/07, we ordered services from forsellbyowner.com for $515.00 to list our home on the Whitefish, MT MLS. We gathered from the order page of your website that the only fee was the initial flat fee. We spoke with Paul Habel before placing the order to make sure. He stated that there was no other fees involved. After placing the order we had a question and contacted Paul again who in the course of the conversation revealed that there was a 1/2 - 1% seller broker's fee upon close. We requested that the order be cancelled. He referred us to Hope. Hope convinced us to put the order on hold until she could speak with your MT realtor to see if he would not charge the 1/2-1% at close.
On 3/21/07, We called Hope who stated that the realtor would not charge us the additional fee and that he would contact us that day or the following. On 3/22/07, after not being contacted by the realtor, we attempted to contact the company via email and calls for an update and/or to get the realtor's number so that we could contact him. We spoke with Paul in the evening who stated that our account had been moved to another dept because of one of our emails and that "Sarah" would contact us on 3/23/07. He stated that he would deal with us in a professional manner. On 3/23/07, Sarah did not contact us and we left numerous messages at 877-372-6735,630-290-7373,630-250-0749. Finally we spoke with Paul who stated he would call us right back. He did not call us back.
Due to lack of service and response we are now in a position to require our money back. Please credited the $515.00 back into our pay pal account. We would really like to resolve this matter informally without having to esculate the matter.
