I recently purchased a desk chair from this company that cost over $300 with all the final costs, including shipping.
When it arrived I noticed right away how poor the quality was. The holes for aseembly didn't line up and the directions were in poorly translated English. It was also shipped in a box that was too small, so they poked a hole in the box to let a piece of the chair come through for a better fit.
After assembly I noticed that it leaned to the right and quickly realized that one of the few assembled pieces had been done wrong and a support was not in place properly. This was a welded piece and unfixable by me.
Customer service was rude, and although they did agree to arrange for pick up they were sarcastic when I explained that I didn't have a suitable box and asked if they would provide one. Their answer was "Wasn't it shipped in a box?" I explained to them that first of all, the box was damaged and in no shape for reuse, but more importantly who saves a giant box anticipating that a $300 chair would be of such poor quality that it would need to be returned?
They instructed me to go to any department store and pick up a box (all I have to do is ask I guess) and pack it up for UPS to come get it. I haven't done that yet as that was the last conversation I had with them.
