1 week old faulty cabrio dryer Ripoff

My husband bought me a whirpool cabrio washer and dryer. I recieved them on 12-07-o6. The dryer will only dry on one cycle. Whirpool sent a repair man out from A&E factory service on 12-18-o6. The repair guy called some guy in Texas who tryed to walk him through the problem.in the end the repair guy told me that the integrated circuit board was bad. They won't be out to fix my dryer till 12-26-06. I can only use 1 cycle till then. I called whirpool and explained that my new dryer was only 1 week old. I asked them if I could just have a new dryer and they said no that it would just have to be repaired. I would think there is some sort of law or someone I could contact about this? I thought whirpool was a good reliable company. Guess I thought wrong.
