I don't normally complain in public forums but this issue is so egregious that I feel they deserve to be known for who they are.

My complaint was submitted to Budget Blinds owner Stacy Hallock and to their "virtual" ombudsman - supposedly complaint manager John Dela Cruz with no response. Any company that will not respond to customer or better business bureau complaints is discredited in my book.

At this point, I have one blind on one french door and nothing on the other french door and an uncovered window. This has totally negated my wish to conserve energy during the hot california summers and has cost me $ cooling my house as well.

Below are the details of my complaint that is still pending.

Summary
Blinds that we ordered were not measured correctly nor did they meet the quality and installation promised.

Problem Description
March we ordered 2 French door blinds and a kitchen blind from Kevin Martin from Budget Blinds.in August when they were finally received and scheduled for installation, we found that his measurements were incorrect with the following issues: One French Door installed into my metal door would not open; the installation was crooked; the magnets that we were assured would securely hold the door upon opening were insufficient. At this point the installer, Charlie, decided to not install the 2nd French door or the kitchen blinds. We patiently waited for the correct products to be installed. After not hearing anything more from Budget Blinds, I was forced to call customer service and leave multiple voicemails. None of these were answered. At that point, I emailed contacts list on the Better Business Bureau website for Budget Blinds and finally was contacted by Jeff J. (Kevin's sales manager). We scheduled an appointment with him to re-measure and described in great detail all of the issues listed above. Today I was to wait at home for the final installation, only to find that when Robert arrived that they only sent him with a build-out for the door (no additional door or kitchen window blind). At this point, we've decided that we will seek blinds from a more reputable company. Upon speaking with Office Manager, Nadia, and explaining the situation and that we want a full refund, she snidely responded that we could only receive a store credit or $100 cash.

What would you like Budget Blinds to do?
Issue a full credit to my credit card for the full price charged of $1335.96 as well as pay to patch and repairs holes to my metal french door where their installer drove nails directly into our door. Also, what couldn't fit in the description of my problem is that when Jeff J. (sales manager) met with us he assured us that after all of the issues that we'd had experienced and if we still weren't satisfied we could get a full refund.
