Reported malfunctioning air conditioner on August 13th. Due to a service contract with American Home Shield, we had no choice as to the vendor for the repair.
Air Flow Air Conditioning first visited the home on August 16th. Since that time (a full month), and after numerous visits, the air condition is now totally non-functional; in August in Florida - at least it was functioning somewhat before they came!
They have repeatedly refused to return phone calls, claimed lengthy delays due to 'waiting for a part', even though the part is a common one and other vendors seem to be able to get parts within a day or two. Received the part, then delayed installation due to rain (all the work is indoors). Finally installed a faulty part and failed to test system to determine part was faulty, resulting in another lengthy delay. Now they have the part but they are not installing it yet BECAUSE IT IS TOO HOT TO WORK!!! Aren't they in the business of repairing faulty air conditioners?
This has been a horrid experience, and the owner has been totally unresponsive to our needs. Worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. Complaints are on file with the Better Business Bureau and the Florida Dept of Business Regulation.
