I recieved what in the trade is known as a hot load of concrete from aggregate industries. Poured first half of 8yrds and bullfloated, asked driver if mud had my hydration stabilizer 60minute. He laughted and said "thats what the paperwork says.
My help and i poured out the rest of the job [under the time given! ] i asked the driver how much was left on the truck. To my and my friends amazment the driver tells us 2 or 3yrds. I said what? I knew my figures were not of by that much. And the driver explained the 2or3yrds had been on the truck from the last job a paveing job.
Piling bolders on my bullfloat to try to knock it down to no avail. I was standing on the new concrete as the truck was driveing away. After all this evidence of a hot load, aggregate industries have denied all responsibility.
