I JUST discovered something that turned my stomach.
When I was empoloyed at Sealmaxx, I was taught that the product penetrated wood UP TO 4 inches.
Believing that was true, I taught that to new salespeople and installers. ALL of us delivered that message to many homeowners and businesses.
Now I see (under 'benefits' at supersealllc.com) that the SAME product, from the SAME manufacturer (seal-it.ca) penetrates ONE HALF to 1 1/2 inches.
I remember explaining that if we treated an 8" beam from all sides that the product would soak ALLLLL the way through.
Evidently that wasn't true.
AGAIN, I apologize to anyone that bought this product.
*On the plus side... I understand it IS good to use on concrete!
