We purchased a PostureTemp2000 foam mattress, which was advertised as a less expensive but higher quality alternative to TempurPedic, which they also sell.
We began noticing problems with the mattress right away. We'd sink in very deeply and it would not rebound. We called and were assured that this was normal for a foam mattress.
The problem got much worse. There are two visible depressions where we sleep and a prominent hump in between. We sink through the top foam layer onto the hard inner core.
After a month of phone messages not being returned, we finally got hold of the owner. He promised to come see the mattress by the end of the week. A month later he finally showed up.
He looked at the depressions and said they were normal. He then layed on the bed and said that everything seemed fine.
We then said: "If you think those holes and hump in the middle is normal, you are out of your mind!" The owner replied "I will not be spoken to in this way!" and stormed out the door.
I sent a letter requesting a copy of both the company's and manufacturer's warranty, but have not received any reply.
I can find no information on the manufacturer of PostureTemp2000 either on the web or in the phone book, although I did see a few other retailers selling them.
