Kim Nichols, broker-in-charge REFUSES to give my husband, a former agent his FULL commission. He left during the fall of but left with two deals with the firm. He had a business relationship with the buyers and company building the homes for the buyers even after leaving the real estate firm.
Kim Nichols refused to inform my husband of the closings that his clients, the buyers were expecting him to be there. When she finally returned his many, many calls then she said he doesn't deserve the FULL commission and only will give him a referral fee of $500.00.
To date, that is all he has received. He is holding on to the check since cashing it would imply $500.00 is the commission on a $192,000.00 home.
If real estate agents, who bring the clients to the firms, were to receive only a $500.00 referral free and the broker-in-charge to keep the rest... Who would want to be a real estate agent?
This is my husband's livelihood and when the next deal closes this month, it will be close to $7,000.00 in commission that my husband should receive.
