On november 16 my husband and I purchased a Kirby vacuum. We were promised a rebate within 7 to 10 days of the purchase - we have yet to receive it. We sent a certified letter which was received by the company and we also received a phone call. We were told that it was an "oversight" and that it would be taken care of and we would receive the money. That was over two weeks ago, and we still have not heard from them. We have also left 2 phone messages which have not been returned. It is obvious they had no intention of getting this rebate to us, but only promised it in order to make the sale. Without this rebate, we would not have purchased the vacuum. We have recently contacted the BBB and are also considering suing if the BBB cannot resolve this.
