We ordered shutters from Discount Blind and Shade Factory (aka Blind and Shade Factory) on June 1. The shutters were to be delivered 8 to 10 weeks later. It has been over 6 1/2 months and we still have not received the shutters.
One of the company owners, Kristen Wolf, the company office manager, Nils Merrigan, and others in the company repeatedly gave us misleading information. We found out from another posting of a consumer complaints that the company posted a bankruptcy sign on thier doors today in Chandler, Az.
It is interesting that Nil Merrigan made a rebuttal to another usacomplaints.com today saying that he quit the company due to their bad practices. How convenient for him to announce his resignation after the company decides to file Chapter 11.
