After hurrican ivan came through my mobile home i lived in started leaking rain and lights started flickering, so me and my wife decited to use the $3,500 from the insurance to get us a new home to set on the two lots we have in santa rosa county. Oct/28, my father agreed to co sighn for me to get a new home sience his credit score is 762, we paid $500 to prestige to hold the home and persue to buy. We were told we could move in before thanksgiving. So we boxed everything up and was very exicted, a week later we were told they were having problems getting us finaniced, we were told that hud turned us down and fanny mae didnt do loans any more, we told them we could go through the finanice company we had our land through because we only liked 7 months having our land payed off.
Prestige told us we would have to go through them and i would have to put up my land in order to get finaniced, we agreed because we were in dire need of a safe place to sleep and we liked the log home, thanksgiving came and left, prestige told us they were still having problems getting us finaniced. Another week or so went by and we finally told prestige we were going some where else to by, because of the delays and my home may burn down at any time. I needed to get my famely in a safe home as soon as i could, 1 hour later prestige called us back and said we could have the home for 49,000 instead of the 54,000 that was orignally quoted if we would stay for the sale and we would be in our new home by christmass. Dec/12 we finally got finaniced. On feb/4 we were able to move in our new home. What happened to christmass? I was then imformed i would have to buy and install my own underpinning, and the $450 to pull the old trailer 3o ft to the side now cost $1500, and the $4500 they alloted for a new septic tank that we didnt need nor did they install, i only got $1100 of that back, and they still wont return my phone calls, in april two months after we moved in our new home my 2 year old grand son that lives with us started getting very sick, we took jayden[grandson] to the doctor.
The doctor told us that jayden was sick enough that she belived he was being subject to mold due to his illness, she ask us if we had mold in our home, we told the doctor that it could not be mold because we had just purchaced a new home. The doctor prescribed medicine and said if he didnt get any better within a week to bring him back. A week later jaydens health was getting worse, we take him back to the doctor, the doctor once again, are you sure you dont have mold in your home, we assured her we did'nt. On june/10 4 months after we moved into our new home i begin to remove the carpet and install wood floor through out the home. After removing the living room carpet i saw a area where the sub floor had been replaced up on futher investigating i found the floor had been replaced becaues of rot i removed a wall pannel, an saw where wood had been replased and a strong smell of mold, i seen where the bottom plate and the top plate was rotted i then checked the bath rooms the floor there was so rotted my foot went through the floor next to the tub and exteror wall.
I called prestige homes and left a message to call me. They never returned my call, jun/16 we took jayden back to the doctor and imformed her of my discovery of rot and mold, the doctor wrote a letter of concern about the enviroment we were living in and the danger that exist with a child of jaydens age, we called prestige homes several more times, finally a man there told us to call the manufacture, nobility homes. He gave us a number to call. We called nobility homes explained to them what was going on., and stressed the health conditions of my 2 year old grandson, and read the letter the doctor wrote, it seemed to go in one ear and out the other. After days of calling and being told someone will call us back and never did, persistance on our part, we were finally told they would have a man here on june/20.
On june/23 nobility showed up to take pictures, told us not to use the tub for it might fall through the floor, a month later july/26 2 more service men showed up took a 3ft x40ft saction off of the front of my house, started laughing because it was worse than they were told, they took more pictures found more rot and mold, in the roof, then taped tar paper up to cover up the opening in my home told me some one would be in contact with me and left. Three days later hurricane dinnis came through, i had to put towels down to try to stop water from coming in my home. Almost 3 months later and numberus phone calls on sept/7 prestige homes and nobility homes came to look at my home, they said it was the worse they had seen, took more pictures and said some one will be in contact with us, a week later prestige called and told us some one will be here to work on the home oct/3 and they needed to come out and take more pictures.
I have called almost every law firm in the phone book. I am told they wasnt intrested or they couldnt take the case because of conflict of intrest, i did find one firm that would take the case, but they want a $10,000 retainer, its kinda hard to come up with that kind of money and still keep your payments up, i was'nt told of any defects prior to purchase, unless a fairy came in the dark of night and tried to repair all the rot and mold. Im willing to bet that who ever discovered the rot went to a higher official in the company to get advice about what to do, they decited to repair or try to repair the rot and keep it quiet, this is conspiricy to comit fraud, if i had waited a year or so later to put wood floors down i would have never found the rot untill my year warranty was up, then i realy would have gotten screwed, i wasnt suppose to find the rot so soon, now for the contracts, i have 3 of them, i have the one i sighned 12/17/04 after months of asking for a copy of the orignal contract, they finally send me a contract in the mail i got this jun/29.6 months later, and after they got word that i found rot and mold, but there were 2 contracts in the envelope one dated 12/22 that now says its a display without a waranty, and one that has a revised date of 1/31 that says it has a waranty, and they have differant figures, i have no idea how much i paying for this box of rot, my percentage has changed also i was told in wirting that it would be at 5 percent, and now its at 7.8, the mortgage company told me that prestige miss lead me, and the horror story onyl gets better from here, ive investigated the mortgage company, and it is suposed to be in delaware, but delaware has never herd of 21st century mortgage corporation, i can redgester that entity in delaware and own the company that has the mortgage on my house, oh by the way i also looked into prestige, the trexlers own the manufacture, the distributer, and mountain finanice and is in a buisness venture with 21st century mortgage. The only people that has herd of 21st century mortgage is, the trexlers, the state of florida and tennessee, but the state it was suppose to be started in, delaware. Has no records of 21st century mortgage corporation, looks like there is a fox in the hen house, i want accountibility, for every cent these people have taken unjust, or stold from the time they started in buisness till now, guess what day it is, ITS THANKSGIVING 2005. Im still have rot mold in my home, ive was a victume of hurricane ivan, now im a victume of lies, decete, and probally white out and a good copy machine, i have video of rot being coverd back up by nobilitys service men. My sub floor it looks like it has snowed on the bottom side from all the white mold, and the story still gets better, yawl come on down, sit awhile, but leave your caneras at home, ive had so many pictures taken that my siding is fadding from all the flashes, im a very patent man. But a 55 gallon drum can only hold so much water, if you want to do buisness with prestige homes, you will have a better chance of getting what you bought if you will go to the zoo and rent a monkey, buy your materals, and have the monkeys put your house togeather for you, there isnt that much differance between them and the company i trusted, and im still getting screwed, i was tought where there is smoke there is fire, prestige, nobility, mountain finanice, 21st century mortgage corp, need to be put under the microscope, ill bet you will find a flame, and some one will to jail, look at public records in fl see how many times prestige and nobility homes has been sued they have a good track record, bet theyer lawyers are realy
busy, oh im sorry, its a conflict of intrest, well i hope some one can help me, and as far as dan goes, the rep for prestige, you said you would pay $75,000 for this rotten box, ITS YOURS, SOLD, COME AND GET IT, AND BECAUSE I CALLED YOU A LIER TO YOUR FACE, YOU DIDNT HAVE TO GET MAD AND TELL MY DAUGHTER I MUST OF HAD TO MUCH TO DRINK while my back was turned, HA HA I DONT DRINK, YOU SAID THE SAME THING ABOUT THE SERVICE MANAGER AT NOBILITY IN FRONT OF 4 WITNESSES, MABE YOU NEED TO GO WORK FOR THE ZOO, YOU MIGHT LEARN SOMETHING FROM THE MONKEYS, i could have went down the road and cut down all the rotten trees i wanted for fee, and built me a more stable home than i bought from prestige homes, and saved my money except for the rent i would have payed the zoo for the monkeys, still living in rott, and mold, found more today, oh i almost forgot, nobility came out 3 weeks ago to put a new roof on my home, guess what, it rained last week and now i have rain coming in my home again, and my new power box at the pole started smoking, and melted, when will it ever end, GOOD ADVICE, PRESTIGE SAW ME COMMING, AND KNEW I WAS IN NEED OF A HOME FAST, DONT WALK AWAY YOU NEED TO RUN AWAY
