America's Home Place has ruined my HOME. We moved in around April. My house has alot of structural problems. Every corner of the inside is crooked. I had walls buldging and cracks in the walls. My wrap around porch has dropped more than four times and still to this day one of the post is sticking out away from the porch.
Just a few weeks after we moved in we had a river flowing through our basement. Not long after that mold began to grow. My family started getting sick. The company sent someone out to kill the mold for different times but they have not solved the problem yet. I still have mold in my home. They also sent a company out to clean my heat pump and they found mold in the heat pump. The cleaning co. Then had to kill and clean the mold, yet they still havn't got rid of the mold in the basement and upstairs. My three children who are 11,7 and 3 years old have started getting nose bleeds and they are getting worse by the week. I have done my research and nose bleeds is a symptom of mold problems. I began getting migraines not long after the mold arrived and in 2005 went to the doctor and so I have a cyst in my head. I have never in my life had a migraine headache until a few months after the mold arrived.
I have rutts in my yard from the large trucks coming in and the company has yet to fix this.
My septic tank started running into my yard less than a year after we moved in. You can see all of the seams in my ceiling throughout the entire house. My floors creek because my floor isn't nailed down properly. I have water coming into my basement between the floor and the wall seam. I can keep going but this could take hours.
If you are planning on having this company build your house, come see mine first. My husband and I have taken over 1,000 pictures of our house. We have pics and videos. You can actually see an America's Home Place building process and all of the probems in-between and on-going.
