JAMES WESSELING JR owner of 360 Degree Blue, AZ License Number: ROC197576. Failed to finish completion of my pool and several others in the Phoenix Metro Area. I began to note problems when the excuses began to flow in when I questioned the length of time it was taking to complete my pool. Over 4.5 months my pool progressed through each stage, and I made my payments as agreed upon in the contract. Once my deck was finished and he received the last 30% check he stopped returning my calls. We still had a final 10% to pay off, but have not heard from his company.
The final 10% would not come close to completing the pool either. I went by his place of business and the company sign is down. I began the process of reporting his company to the BBB, AZ ROC, AZ Attorney Generals Office. We have been contacted by another customer who has not heard from this company in over two months. Their pool is even further behind than mine and they had paid some money upfront prior to completion of the deck. The woman I spoke with threatened to report Mr. Wesseling to the media, from what she said he said bring it on I can use the publicity.
They were afraid that any confrontation my delay their pool more. I have also spoken with sub-contractors who have yet to be paid. What did he do with all the money? The state needs to investigate this company.
Mr. Wesseling began with a clean AZ ROC license. He now has 5 complaints against him, his BBB still shows one, but the process is slow. I am worried that Mr Wesseling may attempt to start another business in AZ or another state. He is not to be trusted even if licensed. I could understand a company having financial problems. I would expect some sort of notice not just being blown off. After speaking with this other couple I can see he has literarily ripped us off. Even if I don't get a cent back I would hope the state will go after him and put him in jail for fraud/theft. He cannot get away with this. I thought I did enough research apparently I was wrong. If I actually hear back and get results from 360 Degree Blue, I'll let you know, but I am not holding my breath.
