Refuses to support customers or stand behind their product

I have always loved Sears and their products until I bought their Kenmore Elite refrigerator. This was suppose to be their top of the line, stainless steel, freezer drawer on the bottom model. We did not buy their extended warrenty because with Sears, you never need to. Their product is usually that good. A little over a year after purchasing, one of the shelfs on the drawer cracked on the bottom. I bought and replaced it. A couple months later 3 more cracked. This is a manufactor defect. We should not be having this amount of damage. I called their customer service to report this, but because I had not purchased the warrenty, I was out of luck. I even went to the National office, zero luck.

I do not have teenagers who slam the doors. It is my husband, myself, and my 6 year old. The doors do not get abused. They were poorly designed.

If Sears were a reputable store, they would stand behind their product and keep their customers happy. Now, everyone I talk to I tell them not to shop at Sears.
