I would like to add our experience to Andrew's recently posted case about the same "company". We received a rather professional estimate and decided to go with them, despite the fact that they required a deposit. However, they never showed up and never returned any calls. Fortunately, we paid the deposit through credit card, so we are covered.
Lessons Learned: No matter how professional the website looks and even the estimate, do your due diligence (in this case they even have an ad in the yellow pages!!!), never pay a deposit and especially not in cash.
Interesting fact: The address mentioned does not exist physically, it is a so-called Private Mailbox commonly used by online businesses. Not quite appropriate for a contracting business?! I tried to drive by and complain in person, but that obviously didn't work out...
If it helps anyone who wonders if they fell for the same scam. The guys giving the estimate were two men in their twenties identifying themselves as Matt and Ted.
