I scheduled an appointment with this company through Dan Garver for 5/23/05 at 1200 pm. At about 12:35pm I contacted Garver to find out where the plumber was. At 1pm, Garver related that the plumber would be here in an hour (2pm). After that time, passed, I conacted Garver again. At 2:15 pm, Garver said the plumber was still 25 minutes away. This put the total delay at about 3 hours. We could not wait any further, and the time was likely going to keep dragging out like that, so we had to cancel. I called to speak to the owner and got Dan Garver. He did not remember who I was and called me "dude." He would not put me in touch with the owner. I told him that I was trying to reach the owner before filing a BBB complaint. Garver said, "Go ahead and file - you will never reach the owner."
Our day was completely wasted by this atrocious level of customer service. We arranged our day to be here for this plumber. I believe that this situation could have been avoided with reasonable scheduling.
