We ordered a fireback from fireplacestuff.com in mid-December as a Christmas present. We were notified the item was back-ordered and to allow 4-6 weeks, so fine.
As time passed, no fireback arrived although the credit card was charged right away. 4-6 weeks became two months, three months, and so on.
We've repeatedly requested a refund with no effect. The company says they have to "look up the order", then they need the last 4 digits of the credit card, then they need the order number. Even with all this information, they now repond by not answering the phone and not responding to e-mail.
