Saturday night my furnace stopped working at 3 am. We all woke up freezing. (it was 56 degrees in the house) I called every 24 hour heating and cooling place I could find and I got voicemails. Reckingers Heating and Cooling was the only one that answered. The service guy did not arrive until six AM! I called at 10 to 6 and the boss told me he would have the service guy call me. When he called, he admiited to falling back asleep. If that wasnt bad enough, the guy stayed maybe 15 minutes, told me the furnace was dirty and needed cleaning.
HE NEVER cleaned it, he said he would call monday. He then charged me $104.50. When I called monday and asked why he left and didnt fix anything I was told... I doubt you wanna pay sunday overtime, your better off waiting until monday. Sunday morning I paid ANOTHER comapny to come out. They found the REAL problem. It was a motor. When I called Reckingers back they acted like... Whatever... They said they would come check it out again but didnt know when they would be able to get to my house. I asked if the $104 went to labor parts (99% of companies do this) and they said no, $ 22.50 for every 15 minutes! SO I paid $104 for NOTHING and still froze my @$ off. Thanks dip *!
