In the process of changing a battery in my 2011 Dodge Avenger Heat, Walmart sparked components of the Electrical system, and Computer modules were fried in the process. The event was seen by my daughter and myself, so the cameras saw what we saw, a 3 foot spark exiting the engine compartment of my car, and the associated smoke. Walmart continued with the battery install, and 10 days later the car was dead. Took car to Chrysler dealer and was informed that up to 6 computer modules could be affected, and a rough estimate of repair is $6,000. Filed claim at Walmart, claim went to CMI, and after a mock investigation, and a pack of lies, they stated they and Walmart and it's employees, were in no way responsible for the damages. I had to trade the car to the dealer, and experienced a $5,000 loss of equity since the car was inoperable, and the computers were fried. Walmart never paid a penny. CMI is a hoax, It is Walmart, arbitrating for itself. They only deny claims. I will nebver buy anything at Walmart that I can possibly purchase elsewhere. Suggest to all to do the same.
