A contract was signed for an addition to our home June 5th. Start of job was to be July 7th completion approx. Sept 30th. The demolition was done July 23rd 2004. The back of my house was stripped of stucco and exposed to the elemnets, for months. Repeated phone calls were met with lame excuse's.
Finally the end of Oct we thought at last we were going to get our home finished. Only to have the foundation poured and again that was it. Shon Walder owner, came by to pick up a $30,000 check for the start of the framing. Check was give as per contract for the start of framing.
One day of work, met by days of more excuse's.
We finally told him just give our $30,000 back we would find new contractor, or we would call our lawyer for return of money. His response was good luck with that.
So in summery, he took over half our money and gave us 1/5 completion 3 months later then completion date.
