Horrible repair service & Horrible Solutions Cente

I'm 6 months within my warranty period. I bought the top of the line dishwasher, cook-top stove, microwave and oven. I live a good distance from the city so everyone they send out (installers & repair techs) drive different trucks, NOT Sear's so I'm assuming are contracted out. The first people (Elite Home Installers) who came to install my new appliances tried telling me my granite countertop cut-out was too big. I told him I got the measurements from the Sear's website for that same cook-top. He told me I should have gone to the store to measure it myself. I asked him why Sear's puts the dimensions on their website if they're incorrect. He then said he would have to put 2 small boards on each side to hold the cook-top up which would be a $50 charge. At this point I was pretty upset. He installed the boards then tried putting the cook-top in and it was too tight.in other words the cut-out was correct and he tried stealing $50 bucks from me. That's the kind of people Sear's sends to your home. THEN, my dishwasher, which is still covered under the 1 yr. Warranty, wasn't draining so they sent another contracted person out. He removed a piece of glass from the pump. He said this wasn't a manufacturers defect (well, how did it get there which had to pass thru the filter? It was about the size of a nickel, my thoughts, the filter should have caught something that big.) One lady at the Sear's Solution Center told me that ANYTHING, regardless of what it is, if my appliances aren't working correctly, it is covered under my 1 year warranty. It's funny how everyone in the Solutions Center is "on a different page". I never got the same answer twice after 6 phone calls. He told me he would have to charge me $75 for a call fee. My understanding, as explained by a Solutions Center rep, is they charge a call fee when it's something that could have been corrected by the owner, such as a temperature adjustment on an ice box; something the consumer should know how to do if they read their manual. Then the tech justified the $75 call fee by noting on his work order that he "cleaned" my dishwasher. After 6 phone calls later and having a headache all day from dealing with this, they justified keeping my $75 only because the tech noted he "cleaned out" my dishwasher. What is their definition of "cleaning"? My dishwasher still smells like stagnant water and it was never dirty to begin with and I'M the one who rinsed the filter when he took it out! WOW, I will NEVER do business with Sear's again! They obviously don't care about the consumer after they have spent thousands of dollars on their appliances, they just have to "go with what the tech said". I don't recommend anyone to purchase from Sear's. What ever happened to customer service?
