In substantial damages were awarded a senior citizen, who had hired James Charles, (founder and creator of DAH) for the remodel of her home. Mr. Charles failed to provided any of the merchandise that had been paid for, and failed to return to the senior citizen any of her life savings. The case went to federal court, where the judge ruled in favor of the senior citizen. To this date, Mr. Charles continues to ignore the court's ruling, and has not repaid any of the awarded damages to the senior and continues to ignore her and her attorney.
