I live in HK bought a ZX6800 Gateway all-in-one system in JUL... The shop boasted the machine got 2 year's warranty. It worked well until SEP (within 3 months) it began halting with a message = "contact vendor - hardware malfunction." Problems started from here, customer support in Hong Kong is done by Acer (later learned same Co.). Quick conclusion, they first tried to reject my case by asking for the invoice (not even warranty), etc... Then kept "quiet" for 3 months until today DEC 23 they wrote me back and even phoned me to go and pick up the machine as no spare parts available in Hong Kong. I would clerly ASK ANYONE who wants to buy a good computer or get a decent normal service PLEASE DO NOT BUY GATEWAY OR ACER PRODUCTS. You will make yourself a BIG favour and stay away from getting angry or sick. Repeat DO NOT SUPPORT this kind of Co's who do not value your purchase.
