I purchased the Magic Jack last summer. It worked great for a few months. Then I bought the 5 year subscription and disconnected my land line phone. Wrong decision! The magic jack audio quality on my voice to others is terrible. IT crackles and breaks up so much they cannot understand what I say. I can hear and understand them fine. I've spent hours with my local internet provider, even upgraded my speeds. I spent over 5 hours with Magic Jack support personnel. Downdloaded, changed, switched, tweaked and waited seemingly forever. Finally I asked for a refund on the 5 year payment (as I hadn't even used the original 12 months completely). Sure! Right! It's been almost a month. And nothing! I'm not about to spend another 4 or 5 hours trying to get to someone who will agree to anything. As they won't do what they say anyway. Buyer BEWARE!!
