Repair or Replace - Pavilion DV6-1355

I've been using Compaq/HP computers for more years than I can remember. My current HP laptop, a Pavilion, was purchased through Best Buy in May 06 and has held up well, so I decided to go with more of the same last November. Well, this time things did not go so smoothly. Central issue is a 'crash' (screen goes black and 'No Boot Device Found' message appears. Only option is to shut down and start over) which occurs about 60-90 minutes after firing it up. Best Buy took three cracks at 'repairing' the problem, then turned it over to HP. They took four cracks at it. Three of them by phone and finally a trip to a repair facility in TN. Various 'fixes' were tried, but none of them worked. It still has the same crash problem. When I suggested it was time to replace this machine instead of trying to 'fix' it I was told that was not an option. I think I'm unlikely to ever buy an HP product again, and I surely won't shop at Best Buy.
