The harm to the LCD comes from wherever the hitting noise was in the remaining joint. There's not just one damage or tag about the laptop, everywhere. The break isn't in the part in which a break may be when the device was fallen... As well as the break isn't within the display middle everywhere, where harm might have occurred by getting hit.
