Ram constantly freezing up!

January 31. HP Media Center Pavillions are a rotten buy. Their customer service and technical service only want money. I had the RAM supposedly replaced by HP twice. I've been having the sames issues with HP's Pavillion "media Center" PC, since Dec 06. Since Dec 06 (day 1 of purchase), via phone, I was constantly hearing "that will be $160.00 dollars to fix the problem", on a brand new PC. I protested and they said it should be covered since it's not even a month old.

I have dealt with 5 different technical service reps & customer service people (phone and internet chat, "Total care" on HP site), total. My "Media Center" PC is still freezing up. After retuning for service twice the third time they said was out of warranty.

I asked way they didn't warranty what they had fixed. After arguing with them. I asked to speak with a manager. The tech said his manager would say the same thing i need to pay to speak with them. I asked again to speak with their manager. For the second time the person hung up the phone. This company clearly doesn't stand behind their product or know what they are doing. I clearly will not recommend an HP product of any kind.

I highly recommend staying away from HP & any of it's products. When in doubt keep HP out...
