When browsing Sears.com Black Friday ads, they've advertised item #02871239000,12v Battery Charger for $29.99 sale price, with a special Black Friday price of $28.49 that will show in the your "cart". The additional discount does not show in your cart. It defaults back to $29.99.
After struggling with their site, 3 different browsers and chatting with their online folks without luck, we called their 1-800 sales number and were told that that price ($28.49), has been "expired". Ok, fine, it's expired. But it's been expired and still up for 48 hours. It's still up there now.
Many people may never notice the small $1.50 discount that should be applied in their cart and isn't. We did and it frankly leaves a bad taste in my mouth. An amount that is big enough that people will click through to get, but small enough such that when you notice, you won't/can't do anything about.
Annoying!!! C'mon Sears, a buck fifty. Fix ur site, fix the glitch or give folks the item for the price you advertise... I don't care which.
